अनीकिनी सा विबभौ यथा द्यौः साभ्रसंप्लवा ।
प्रगृह्य गिरिशृङ्गाणि महतश्च महीरुहान् ॥६-२४-२०॥
anīkinī sā vibabhau yathā dyauḥ sābhrasaṃplavā |
pragṛhya giriśṛṅgāṇi mahataśca mahīruhān ॥6-24-20॥
Translation
Holding mountain peaks and huge trees, that army shone like the sky filled with clouds.
हिंदी अनुवाद
पर्वत शिखरों और विशाल वृक्षों को (हाथों में) धारण की हुई वह सेना, बादलों से भरे हुए आकाश के समान सुशोभित हो रही थी।
English Commentary
The Vanaras' weapons were stones and trees. When millions of them stood holding these, they resembled a sky overcast with clouds. This imagery reinforces the 'natural' warfare style of the Vanara army.
हिंदी टीका
वानरों के हथियार पत्थर और पेड़ थे। जब लाखों वानर इन्हें उठाकर खड़े हुए, तो दृश्य ऐसा लगा जैसे आकाश में बादल उमड़ आए हों। यह वानर सेना की 'प्राकृतिक' युद्ध शैली का चित्रण है।
