ऋक्षमुख्या महात्मानः कुक्षिम् रक्षन्तु ते त्रयः ।
जघनम् कपिसेनायाः कपिराजोऽभिरक्षतु ॥६-२५-१८॥
abravītprahasanniva vākyaṃ sarvabhūtahite rataḥ |
yadi dṛṣṭaṃ balaṃ kṛtsnaṃ vayaṃ vā suparīkṣitāḥ ॥6-25-18॥
Translation
...who is devoted to the welfare of all beings, spoke as if smiling: 'If you have seen the entire army, or examined us well...'
हिंदी अनुवाद
...सभी प्राणियों के हित में लगे रहने वाले (श्री राम) ने हंसते हुए से यह कहा—'यदि तुमने पूरी सेना देख ली है, या हम लोगों का भली-भांति निरीक्षण कर लिया है...'
English Commentary
Shri Rama's reaction is the epitome of grace and confidence. Instead of anger, he smiles (prahasanniva). Being 'devoted to the welfare of all beings', he treats even enemy spies with benevolence, showing he has nothing to hide and nothing to fear.
हिंदी टीका
श्री राम की प्रतिक्रिया अद्भुत है। वे क्रोधित नहीं होते, बल्कि 'हंसते हुए' (Smilingly) बात करते हैं। यह उनके आत्मविश्वास और 'सर्वभूतहिते रतः' (सबके प्रति दयालु) स्वभाव को दर्शाता है। वे जासूसों को शत्रु नहीं, बल्कि 'अतिथि' जैसा व्यवहार देते हैं।
