अनुवालिसुतस्यापि बलेन महता वृतः ।
वीरस्तिष्ठति सम्ग्रामे सेतुहेतुरयम् नलः ॥६-२६-२१॥
anu vālisutasyāpi balena mahatāvṛttaḥ |
vīrastiṣṭhati saṃgrāme setuheturayaṃ nalaḥ ॥6-26-21॥
Translation
'Standing behind Vali's son, surrounded by a great army, is the hero Nala, the maker of the bridge.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'बालिपुत्र (अंगद) के पीछे विशाल सेना से घिरा हुआ जो वीर युद्ध के लिए खड़ा है, यह सेतु का निर्माण करने वाला 'नल' है।'
English Commentary
Nala is identified as the architect of the bridge (setuhetu). This distinguishes him immediately. To Ravana, he represents the intellect that bridged the ocean, a strategic threat alongside his martial prowess.
हिंदी टीका
नल का परिचय 'सेतुहेतु' (सेतु का कारण/निर्माता) के रूप में दिया गया है। रावण के लिए वह एक 'इंजीनियर' नहीं बल्कि एक भयानक योद्धा भी है जिसने असंभव को संभव किया।
