स्थिताम् तीरे समुद्रस्य द्वितीय इव सागरः ।
एष दर्दर सम्काशो विनतो नाम यूथपः ॥६-२६-४३॥
sthitāṃ tīre samudrasya dvitīya iva bhāskaraḥ |
eṣa dardurasaṃkāśo vinato nāma yūthapaḥ ॥6-26-43॥
Translation
'...standing on the shore of the ocean like a second sun. This is the commander named Vinata, having the color of a frog (greenish-brown).'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'...जो समुद्र के किनारे दूसरे सूर्य के समान स्थित है। यह मेंढक (दर्दुन) के समान रंग वाला 'विनत' नामक यूथपति है।'
English Commentary
Vinata has a unique complexion—frog-colored (brown/green)—yet radiates brilliance like a 'second sun'. This juxtaposition highlights his potent aura despite his earthy appearance.
हिंदी टीका
विनत का रंग 'दर्दुर' (मेंढक) जैसा मटमैला/हरा है, लेकिन उसका तेज 'सूर्य' जैसा है। यह विरोधाभास उसकी आंतरिक शक्ति को दिखाता है।
