ददर्श पृथिवी देशम् सुसम्पूर्णम् प्लवम् गमैः ।
तद् अपारम् असम्ख्येयम् वानराणाम् महद् बलम् ॥६-२६-७॥
dadarśa pṛthivīdeśaṃ susaṃpūrṇaṃ plavaṅgamaiḥ |
tadapāramasaṃkhyeyaṃ vānarāṇāṃ mahadbalam ॥6-26-7॥
Translation
...saw that region of the earth completely filled with monkeys. He beheld that boundless and innumerable great army of monkeys.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...उसने पृथ्वी के उस भाग को वानरों से पूरी तरह भरा हुआ देखा। उसने वानरों की उस अपार और असंख्य विशाल सेना को देखा।
English Commentary
Ravana witnesses the scale of the threat with his own eyes for the first time. Words like aparam (boundless) and asankhyeyam (innumerable) indicate the army stretched to the horizon, physically challenging his confidence.

रावण पहली बार खतरे की वास्तविकता (Scale of threat) को अपनी आँखों से देखता है। 'अपार' और 'असंख्य' शब्द यह बताते हैं कि सेना क्षितिज तक फैली थी। यह दृश्य उसके आत्मविश्वास को चुनौती देने वाला था।
