राक्षसानां च सदृशाः पिशाचानां च लोमशाः ।
एतस्य सैन्या बहवो विचरन्त्यमितौजसः ॥६-२७-१५॥
rākṣasānāṃ ca sadṛśāḥ piśācānāṃ ca lomaśāḥ |
etasya sainyā bahavo vicarantyamitaujasaḥ ॥6-27-15॥
Translation
'Resembling demons and goblins (Pishachas), and hairy, many soldiers of boundless energy belonging to him are roaming about.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'राक्षसों और पिशाचों के समान (दिखने वाले) और बहुत बालों वाले (लोमश), अमित ओज (शक्ति) वाले इसके बहुत से सैनिक विचर रहे हैं।'
English Commentary
The bear army's appearance is likened to demons and Pishachas. This is ironic for Ravana—he is facing an army that looks as terrifying as his own forces, negating the intimidation factor.

जाम्बवान की सेना दिखने में राक्षसों जैसी ही डरावनी है। यह तुलना रावण के लिए विडंबनापूर्ण है—उसके अपने जैसे दिखने वाले प्राणी ही उसका विनाश करने आए हैं।
