स्निग्धा यस्य बहुव्यामा वाला लाङ्गूलमाश्रिताः ।
ताम्राः पीनाः सिताः श्वेताः प्रकीर्णा घोरकर्मणः ॥६-२७-२॥
snigdhā yasya bahuvyāmā vālā lāṅgūlamāśritāḥ |
tāmrāḥ pīnāḥ sitāḥ śvetāḥ prakīrṇā ghorakarmaṇaḥ ॥6-27-2॥
Translation
'On the tail of this doer of terrible deeds, smooth, long hairs of many fathoms, copper-red, thick, white, and yellow, are scattered...'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'जिस घोर कर्म करने वाले (वानर) की पूंछ पर बहुत व्याम (माप) लम्बे, चिकने, तांबे जैसे लाल, मोटे, सफेद और पीले बाल बिखरे हुए हैं...'
English Commentary
Here, the distinctive physical features of the monkey named 'Hara' (named in the next verse) are described. His tail is multicolored and massive. The epithet 'Ghorakarmanah' (doer of terrible deeds) indicates his ruthless efficiency in battle.

यहाँ 'हर' नामक वानर (जिसका नाम अगले श्लोक में आएगा) की विशिष्ट शारीरिक पहचान बताई जा रही है। उसकी पूंछ बहुरंगी और विशाल है। 'घोरकर्मणः' विशेषण बताता है कि वह युद्ध में क्रूर और दयारहित है।
