Srimad Valmiki Ramayana - Yuddha Kanda - Sarga 27

एष यूथपतिर्नेता गच्छन् गिरiguhāशयान् ।
गजान् योधयते वन्कान् गिरींश्चैव महीरुहान् ॥६-२७-२७॥

eṣa yūthapatirnetā gacchan giriguhāśayān |
gajān yodhayate vankān girīṃścaiva mahīruhān ॥6-27-27॥

Translation

'This commander and leader, while moving, fights/challenges the wild elephants dwelling in mountain caves with mountains and trees.'

हिंदी अनुवाद

'यह यूथपति और नेता, गुफाओं में रहने वाले जंगली हाथियों को जाते हुए, पहाड़ों और वृक्षों से युद्ध के लिए ललकारता/मारता है।'

English Commentary

He fights elephants using mountains and trees as weapons. This illustrates the Vanara combat style—utilizing the environment as an arsenal.
