विवर्तमानं बहुधा यत्रैतद्बहुलुं रजः ।
एते सितमुखा घोरा गोलाङ्गूला महाबलाः ॥६-२७-३३॥
vivartamānaṃ bahudhā yatraitatbahulaṃ rajaḥ |
ete sitamukhā ghorā golāṅgūlā mahābalāḥ ॥6-27-33॥
Translation
'Where this dense dust is swirling in many ways... these are the white-faced, terrible, mighty Golangulas (cow-tailed monkeys).'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'जहां यह बहुत सारी धूल अनेक प्रकार से उड़ रही है, ये सफेद मुख वाले, घोर और महाबली 'गोलांगूल' (लंगूर/काले मुंह वाले वानर - Note: Text says Sita-mukha which means white faced, Golangula usually implies cow-tailed or Langur type) हैं।'
English Commentary
These are the 'Golangulas' (Cow-tailed monkeys). Their distinct white faces (sitamukha) mark them as a specific, fierce tribe within the Vanara alliance.
