परिवार्याभिवर्तन्ते लङ्कां मर्दितुमोजसा ।
अमराचरिता यत्र सर्वकालफलद्रुमाः ॥६-२७-३५॥
parivāryābhivartante laṅkāṃ marditumojasā |
amarācaritā yatra sarvakālaphaladrumāḥ ॥6-27-35॥
Translation
'...surrounding him, they advance to crush Lanka with vigor. (He dwells) where gods visit and trees bear fruit in all seasons.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'...वे (गवाक्ष की सेना) घेरकर लंका को ओज से कुचलने के लिए बढ़ रहे हैं। (यह गवाक्ष वहां रहता है) जहां देवताओं का आना-जाना लगा रहता है और सदा फल देने वाले वृक्ष हैं।'
English Commentary
The objective of Gavaksha's army is clear: the 'crushing' (marditum) of Lanka. His habitat is described as divine (amaracarita - visited by gods), implying that the Vanara army comprises not just wild beasts, but beings from celestial and holy regions.

गवाक्ष की सेना का उद्देश्य स्पष्ट है—लंका का 'मर्दन' (Crushing). उसका निवास स्थान दिव्य है ('अमराचरिता' - देवताओं द्वारा सेवित)। यह बताता है कि वानर सेना में केवल जंगली जानवर नहीं, बल्कि दैवीय स्थानों के निवासी भी शामिल हैं।
