मुख्यो वानरमुख्यानां केसरी नाम यूथपः ।
षष्टिर्गिरिसहस्राणां रम्याः काञ्चनपर्वताः ॥६-२७-३९॥
mukhyo vānaramukhyānāṃ kesarī nāma yūthapaḥ |
ṣaṣṭirgirisahasrāṇāṃ ramyāḥ kāñcanaparvatāḥ ॥6-27-39॥
Translation
'He is the chief among monkey chiefs, the commander named Kesari. There are sixty thousand beautiful golden mountains.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'वानर मुखियों में भी मुख्य यह 'केसरी' नामक यूथपति है। (वहां) साठ हजार पर्वतों वाले रमणीय स्वर्ण पर्वत हैं।'
English Commentary
Introduction of Kesari, the father of Hanuman. He is the 'Chief of Chiefs'. Commanding a region of 60,000 mountains signifies his immense territorial power.

केसरी का परिचय—हनुमान जी के पिता। वे 'मुख्यों के भी मुख्य' हैं। ६०,००० पर्वतों का स्वामी होना उनके विशाल साम्राज्य को दर्शाता है।
