Srimad Valmiki Ramayana - Yuddha Kanda - Sarga 27

मर्दयन्तीव ते सर्वे तस्थुर्लङ्कां समीक्ष्य ते ।
एष चैषामधिपतिर्मध्ये तिष्ठति वीर्यवान् ॥६-२७-४४॥

mardayantīva te sarve tasthurlaṅkāṃ samīkṣya te |
eṣa caiṣāmadhipatirmadhye tiṣṭhati vīryavān ॥6-27-44॥

Translation

'Seeing Lanka, they all stand as if crushing it. And this powerful one (Kesari), their lord, stands in their midst.'

हिंदी अनुवाद

'ये सब लंका को देखकर उसे कुचलते हुए से खड़े हैं। और इनका अधिपति यह वीर्यवान (केसरी) इनके बीच में खड़ा है।'

English Commentary

Kesari stands centrally. The collective stance of his army is aggressive—looking as if they are physically crushing Lanka with their gaze alone.

हिंदी टीका

केसरी अपनी सेना के केंद्र में है। उनकी मुद्रा (Stance) ऐसी है मानो वे अभी लंका को कुचल देंगे। यह आक्रामकता का चरम है।
