सारणस्य वचः श्रुत्वा रावणं राक्षसाधिपम् ।
बलमादिश्य तत्सर्वं शुको वाक्यमथाब्रवीत् ॥६-२८-१॥
sāraṇasya vacaḥ śrutvā rāvaṇaṃ rākṣasādhipam |
balamādiśya tatsarvaṃ śuko vākyamathābravīt ॥6-28-1॥
Translation
After hearing the words of Sarana, and having pointed out that entire army to Ravana, the Lord of Rakshasas, Shuka then spoke these words.
हिंदी अनुवाद
सारण के वचनों को सुनने के पश्चात, उस सम्पूर्ण वानर सेना को राक्षसराज रावण को (इशारे से) दिखाकर, शुक ने तत्पश्चात यह वचन कहा।
English Commentary
This verse marks the transition between the reports of the two spies. After Sarana concludes his detailed briefing on the individual commanders, Shuka assumes the responsibility of describing the aggregate strength and the primary leadership of the Vanara army. This systematic reporting underscores the gravity of the intelligence being provided to Ravana.
