इक्ष्वाकूणामतिर्थो लोके विख्यातपौरुषः ।
यस्मिन्न चलुते धर्मो यो धर्मान्नातिवर्तते ॥६-२८-१९॥
ikṣvākūṇāmatiratho loke vikhyātapauruṣaḥ |
yasminna calute dharmo yo dharmānnātivartate ॥6-28-19॥
Translation
...is an Atiratha of the Ikshvaku dynasty, with fame renowned in the world. In whom Dharma never wavers, and who never transgresses Dharma.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...(वे) इक्ष्वाकु वंश के अतिरथी (महारथी से भी श्रेष्ठ योद्धा) हैं, जिनका पौरुष विश्व में विख्यात है। जिनमें धर्म कभी विचलित नहीं होता और जो धर्म की मर्यादा का उल्लंघन नहीं करते।
English Commentary
Shri Rama is introduced as an 'Atiratha' (supreme warrior) and the embodiment of steadfast Dharma. The contrast is stark: Ravana represents chaos and Adharma, while Shri Rama represents absolute moral order. Shuka emphasizes that Shri Rama's power is rooted in his adherence to righteousness.
