Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
यो ब्राह्ममस्त्रं वेदांश्च वेद वेदविदां वरः ।
यो भिन्द्याद्गगनं बाणैः पर्वतानपि दारयेत् ॥६-२८-२०॥
yo brāhmamastraṃ vedāṃśca veda vedavidāṃ varaḥ |
yo bhindyādgaganaṃ bāṇaiḥ parvatānapi dārayet ॥6-28-20॥
Translation
Who is the best among knowers of Veda, knows the Brahmastra and the Vedas. Who can pierce the sky with his arrows and split even mountains.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जो वेद-वेत्ताओं में श्रेष्ठ हैं, ब्रह्मास्त्र और वेदों के ज्ञाता हैं। जो अपने बाणों से आकाश को भेद सकते हैं और पर्वतों को भी विदीर्ण कर सकते हैं।
English Commentary
Shri Rama is presented as a warrior-sage (Vedavit). He possesses the ultimate celestial weapon, the Brahmastra. His archery prowess is described as capable of altering the physical world—piercing the sky and splitting mountains—signifying absolute martial dominance.
हिंदी टीका
श्री राम केवल योद्धा नहीं, अपितु 'वेदविद' (ज्ञानी) भी हैं। उनके पास 'ब्रह्मास्त्र' जैसा अचूक अस्त्र है। उनकी बाण विद्या की शक्ति इतनी है कि वह प्रकृति के तत्वों (आकाश और पर्वत) को भी खंडित कर सकती है।
