एते सुग्रीवसचिवाः किष्किन्धानिलयाः सदा ।
हरयो देवगन्धर्वैरुत्पन्नाः कामरूपिणः ॥६-२८-५॥
ete sugrīvasacivāḥ kiṣkindhānilayāḥ sadā |
harayo devagandharvairutpannāḥ kāmarūpiṇaḥ ॥6-28-5॥
Translation
These are the ministers of Sugriva who always reside in Kishkindha. These monkeys are born of the essence of Gods and Gandharvas and are capable of assuming any form at will.

ये वानर सुग्रीव के सचिव (मंत्री) हैं जो सदैव किष्किन्धा में निवास करते हैं। ये देवताओं और गंधर्वों के अंश से उत्पन्न हुए हैं और इच्छानुसार रूप बदलने में समर्थ हैं।
English Commentary
This verse highlights the divine lineage of Sugriva's core council. They are not ordinary simians but incarnations of celestial beings (Devas and Gandharvas). Their status as permanent residents of Kishkindha signifies their unwavering loyalty and proximity to the King, making them the elite guard.
