ब्रह्मणा समनुज्ञातावमृतप्राशिनावुभौ ।
आशंसेते यथा लङ्कामेतौ मर्दितुमोजसा ॥६-२८-७॥
brahmaṇā samanujñātau amṛtaprāśināvubhau |
āśaṃsete yathā laṅkāmetau marditumojasā ॥6-28-7॥
Translation
They are empowered by the sanction of Lord Brahma and both have partaken of Amrita (nectar of immortality). They aspire to crush Lanka with their own might.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इन्हें स्वयं ब्रह्मा जी की अनुमति (वरदान) प्राप्त है और इन दोनों ने अमृत का पान किया हुआ है। ये दोनों अपने ओज (बल) से लंका को ध्वस्त करने की आकांक्षा रखते हैं।
English Commentary
The secret of their invincibility is revealed here: the blessing of Brahma and the consumption of Amrita. Fighting opponents who have tasted the nectar of immortality presents a tactical nightmare for Ravana. It emphasizes that the Vanara army possesses supernatural advantages.

इन योद्धाओं की अजेयता का रहस्य यहाँ प्रकट किया गया है—ब्रह्मा का वरदान और अमृत पान। जो योद्धा अमृत पी चुके हों, उन्हें मारना असंभव है। यह जानकारी रावण के आत्मविश्वास को डगमगाने के लिए पर्याप्त है कि उसके शत्रु साधारण मृत्यु के अधीन नहीं हैं।
