सर्वतः च महाभीमाः शीत तोया महाशुभाः ।

English Commentary
The fortifications are deceptive—beautifully bejeweled ('mani-vidruma...') yet formidable. The text transitions to the perimeter defense: the moats, described paradoxically as 'shubha' (beautiful/auspicious) with cold water but 'mahabhima' (terribly huge).
