Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
एकस् त्व् अकम्प्यो बलवान् सम्क्रमः सुमहादृढः ।
काञ्चनैर् बहुभिः स्तम्भैर् वेदिकाभिः च शोभितः ॥६-३-१८॥
yantraistairavakīryante parikhāsu samantataḥ । ekastvakampyo balavān saṃkramaḥ sumahān dṛḍhaḥ ॥6-3-18॥
Translation
By those machines, (enemies) are thrown into the moats on all sides. However, one bridge is immovable, strong, extremely huge, and firm.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उन यंत्रों द्वारा (शत्रु) खाइयों में सब ओर से गिरा दिए जाते हैं। (उनमें से) एक पुल अत्यंत विशाल, दृढ़, अविचल (अकम्प्य) और बलवान है।
English Commentary
The mechanisms act as traps to fling invaders into the crocodile-infested moats. Hanuman notes one specific bridge that is 'akampya' (unshakeable) and massive, likely the main ceremonial entrance which might be too heavy to retract but is heavily fortified.
हिंदी टीका
हनुमान जी बताते हैं कि यंत्रों का उपयोग शत्रुओं को खाई में (मगरमच्छों के पास) धकेलने के लिए किया जाता है। लेकिन एक मुख्य पुल ('एकः संक्रमः') इतना भारी और मजबूत है कि वह 'अकम्प्य' (हिलाया न जा सकने वाला) है। शायद यह मुख्य राजमार्ग है।
