बलैकदेशः क्षपितो राक्षसानाम् महात्मनाम् ।
येन केन तु मार्गेण तराम वरुण आलयम् ॥६-३-३०॥
dagdhā ca nagarī laṅkā prākārāścāvasāditāḥ । balaikadeśaḥ kṣapito rākṣasānāṃ mahātmanām ॥6-3-30॥
Translation
The city of Lanka has been burnt, the ramparts demolished, and a portion of the army of the mighty Rakshasas has been destroyed.

लंका नगरी जलाई जा चुकी है, परकोटे (दीवारें) गिरा दिए गए हैं और उन महाबली राक्षसों की सेना का एक भाग नष्ट किया जा चुका है।
English Commentary
Hanuman provides a BDA (Bomb Damage Assessment) of his own previous actions. The psychological impact of the burning ('dagdha'), the structural damage to the walls, and the attrition of personnel ('bala-ekadesha kshapito') prove that Lanka bleeds. This is crucial for boosting the morale of the listening Vanara army.
