सुषेणश्चापि धर्मात्मा पुत्रो धर्मस्य वीर्यवान् ।
सौम्यः सोमात्मजश्चात्र राजन् दधिमुखः कपिः ॥६-३०-२२॥
suṣeṇaścaiva dharmātmā putro dharmasya vīryavān |
saumyaḥ somātmajaścātra rājan dadhimukhaḥ kapiḥ ॥6-30-22॥
Translation
Here is the righteous and mighty Sushena, the son of Dharma. And O King, here is the gentle monkey Dadhimukha, the son of Soma (the Moon).
हिंदी अनुवाद
धर्म के पुत्र, वीर्यवान और धर्मात्मा सुषेण भी यहाँ हैं। और हे राजन! चन्द्रमा (सोम) के पुत्र सौम्य स्वभाव वाले दधिमुख वानर भी यहाँ हैं।
English Commentary
Sushena, the father-in-law of Sugriva, is identified as the son of Dharma, implying righteousness and healing skills (he is often the physician). Dadhimukha, the keeper of the Madhuvana, is the son of the Moon (Soma). These divine parentages confirm that Ravana is fighting a proxy war against the pantheon of gods.

सुषेण (तारा के पिता और सुग्रीव के ससुर) धर्मदेव के पुत्र माने गए हैं, जो चिकित्सा और नीति में निपुण थे। दधिमुख (सुग्रीव का मामा और मधुवन का रक्षक) चन्द्रमा का पुत्र है। ये दोनों वानर सेना के उच्च-स्तरीय सेनापति हैं। देवताओं का अंश होने के कारण इनका बल सामान्य वानरों से कहीं अधिक है।
