पुत्रो हुतवहस्याथ नीलः सेनापतिः स्वयम् ।
अनिलस्य च पुत्रोऽत्र हनुमानिति विश्रुतः ॥६-३०-२४॥
putro hutavahasyātha nīlaḥ senāpatiḥ svayam |
anilasya ca putro'tra hanumāniti viśrutaḥ ॥6-30-24॥
Translation
Nila, the son of Fire (Hutavaha), is himself the Commander-in-Chief. And the son of Wind (Anila), known as Hanuman, is here.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अग्नि (हुतवह) के पुत्र नील यहाँ स्वयं सेनापति हैं। और वायु (अनिल) के पुत्र यहाँ हनुमान नाम से प्रसिद्ध हैं।
English Commentary
The elemental powers are present. Nila, the son of Fire, is the General (Senapati). Hanuman, the son of Wind, needs no introduction to Ravana after burning Lanka. Listing them reminds Ravana that he faces the speed of wind and the destruction of fire.

दो प्रमुख तत्वों के पुत्रों का वर्णन है। नील (अग्नि पुत्र) सेनापति हैं—अग्नि की तरह ही वे शत्रु को भस्म करने में सक्षम हैं। हनुमान (वायु पुत्र) का नाम ही रावण के लिए पर्याप्त परिचय है। 'विश्रुतः' (प्रसिद्ध) शब्द बताता है कि लंका दहन के बाद हनुमान को किसी परिचय की आवश्यकता नहीं है। ये दोनों सेना के मुख्य स्तंभ हैं।
