न ते चारयितुं शक्या राजन् वानरपुंगवाः ।
विक्रान्ता बलवन्तश्च राघवेण च रक्षिताः ॥६-३०-५॥
na te cārayituṃ śakyā rājan vānarapuṃgavāḥ |
vikrāntā balavantaśca rāghaveṇa ca rakṣitāḥ ॥6-30-5॥
Translation
O King! It is impossible to spy on those bull-like monkeys. They are valiant, mighty, and protected by Raghava.
हिंदी अनुवाद
हे राजन! उन वानर श्रेष्ठों की जासूसी करना संभव नहीं है। वे अत्यंत पराक्रमी और बलवान हैं, तथा स्वयं राघव (श्री राम) द्वारा रक्षित हैं।
English Commentary
Shardula admits intelligence failure but attributes it to the enemy's impenetrable defense. He states spying is impossible not just because of the monkeys' strength, but because they are Raghavena rakshitah (protected by Shri Rama). This highlights Shri Rama's competence as a general; his camp is not a chaotic gathering of animals but a highly secured fortress under his vigilant protection.

शार्दूल अपनी विफलता स्वीकार करता है, लेकिन इसका कारण शत्रु की अजेयता बताता है। वह कहता है कि वानर सेना में घुसपैठ असंभव है क्योंकि वे न केवल बलवान हैं, बल्कि 'राघवेण रक्षिताः' (श्री राम द्वारा सुरक्षित) हैं। यह श्री राम के नेतृत्व कौशल को दर्शाता है—उनका सुरक्षा तंत्र (counter-intelligence) इतना सशक्त है कि हवा भी बिना आज्ञा प्रवेश नहीं कर सकती।
