जानुभिर्मुष्टिभिर्दन्तैस्तलैश्चाभिहतो भृशम् ।
परिणीतोऽस्मि हरिभिर्बलवद्भिरमर्षणैः ॥६-३०-८॥
jānubhirmuṣṭibhirdantaistalaiścābhihato bhṛśam |
pariṇīto'smi haribhirbalavadbhiramarṣaṇaiḥ ॥6-30-8॥
Translation
I was struck violently with knees, fists, teeth, and palms by those powerful and angry monkeys, and I was paraded around.

उन बलवान और क्रोधी वानरों ने मुझे घुटनों, मुक्कों, दांतों और थप्पड़ों से बुरी तरह मारा और (पूरी सेना में) घुमाया।
English Commentary
The primal nature of Vanara combat is vividly described—using knees, fists, and teeth. Amarshanaih (unforgiving/wrathful) describes the monkeys' mood; they are eager for revenge against the Rakshasas. Being paraded (parinitah) served as a humiliation for the spy and a morale booster for the Vanara troops, showcasing their dominance over Ravana's agents.

वानरों की युद्ध शैली का वर्णन यहाँ सजीव है। वे शस्त्रों के बजाय अपने अंगों (घुटने, मुक्के, दांत) का प्रयोग करते हैं। 'अमर्षणैः' (अमर्ष/क्रोध से युक्त) शब्द वानरों के रावण के प्रति संचित आक्रोश को दर्शाता है। एक गुप्तचर को पकड़कर पीटना और घुमाना उसे अपमानित करने और शत्रु का मनोबल तोड़ने की एक मनोवैज्ञानिक रणनीति है।
