दिवि नक्षत्रभूतस्त्वं महत्कर्मकृतां प्रियम् ।
पुण्यं राजर्षिवंशं त्वमात्मनः समुपेक्षसे ॥६-३२-१९॥
divi nakṣatrabhūtastvaṃ mahatkarmakṛtāṃ priyam |
puṇyaṃ rājarṣivaṃśaṃ tvamātmanaḥ samupekṣase ॥6-32-19॥
Translation
'Having become a star in the heavens, you are disregarding your own meritorious dynasty of Royal Sages who performed great deeds.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'स्वर्ग में नक्षत्र रूप होकर, आप महान कर्म करने वाले अपने पुण्यमय राजर्षि वंश की उपेक्षा कर रहे हैं (उन्हें छोड़कर चले गए हैं)।'
English Commentary
Sita refers to the belief that heroes become stars (nakshatra-bhuta) after death. She gently chides Shri Rama for 'disregarding' (samupekshase) his lineage. By dying, he leaves the illustrious dynasty of Rajarshis (Royal Sages) without an heir or protector. It highlights the tension between individual liberation/death and duty to the lineage.

प्राचीन मान्यता है कि महान आत्माएं मृत्यु के बाद नक्षत्र बन जाती हैं। सीता उलाहना देती हैं कि श्री राम ने नक्षत्र बनकर अपने 'राजर्षि वंश' की उपेक्षा की है, अर्थात् वंश को आगे बढ़ाने का दायित्व अधूरा छोड़ दिया। रघुकुल की परंपरा महान कर्मों ('महत्कर्मकृताम्') की रही है, जिसका अंत अब दिखाई दे रहा है।
