नयने मुखवर्णं च भर्तुस्तत्सदृशं मुखम् ।
केशान् केशान्तदेशं च तं च चूडामणिं शुभम् ॥६-३२-२॥

keśān keśāntadeśaṃ ca taṃ ca cūḍāmaṇiṃ śubham ॥6-32-2॥

English Commentary
The illusion was terrifyingly detailed. Sita scrutinizes the severed head, noting the eyes, complexion, hairline, and the chudamani (crest jewel). The precision of the Maya fooled even the intimate gaze of a wife. The specific mention of features like 'keshantadesham' (hairline/forehead) shows the depth of her observation. This accumulation of physical evidence is what breaks her spirit, as the head appeared identical ('sadrisham') to her husband's.

मायावी मस्तक इतना सटीक बना था कि सीता जी भ्रमित हो गईं। उन्होंने एक-एक अंग का निरीक्षण किया—नेत्र, मुख की कांति, यहाँ तक कि 'केशधराव' (hairline) और 'चूड़ामणि' भी। यह वही चूड़ामणि हो सकती है जो उन्होंने हनुमान को दी थी (या वैसी ही मायावी)। एक पत्नी के रूप में श्री राम के लक्षणों की उनकी स्मृति अचूक थी, और मायावी रचना ने उन सभी लक्षणों की नकल की थी, जिससे सीता का संदेह विश्वास में बदल गया कि श्री राम वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए हैं।
