Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अमात्यैः सहितैः सर्वैः प्रहस्तः समुपस्थितः ।
तेन दर्शनकामेन वयं प्रस्थापिताः प्रभो ॥६-३२-३६॥
amātyaiḥ sahitaiḥ sarvaiḥ prahastaḥ samupasthitaḥ |
tena darśanakāmena vayaṃ prasthāpitāḥ prabho ॥6-32-36॥
Translation
'O Lord! Prahasta has arrived accompanied by all the ministers. Desiring to see you, he has sent us.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'हे प्रभो! प्रहस्त सभी मंत्रियों के साथ उपस्थित हुए हैं। वे आपके दर्शन (मिलने) के इच्छुक हैं, इसीलिए उन्होंने हमें भेजा है।'
English Commentary
It's a full cabinet emergency meeting. Prahasta is there with sarvaih amatyaih (all ministers). They didn't just come to chat; they sent the messenger because they need the King immediately. This suggests the enemy (Shri Rama's army) has made a significant move that requires the supreme commander's decision.
हिंदी टीका
केवल सेनापति नहीं, 'सर्वैः अमात्यैः' (सभी मंत्रियों) का आना संकट की गंभीरता को बताता है। रावण को तुरंत दरबार में बुलाया जा रहा है। 'दर्शनकामेन' (दर्शन की इच्छा से) एक विनम्र तरीका है यह कहने का कि 'स्थिति गंभीर है और आपकी उपस्थिति अनिवार्य है'।
