उद्यतायुधहस्तानां राक्षसेन्द्रानुयायिनाम् ।
संभ्रमो रक्षसामेष तुमुलो रोमहर्षणः ॥६-३३-२९॥
udyatāyudhahastānāṃ rākṣasendrānuyāyinām |
saṃbhramo rakṣasāmeṣa tumulo romaharṣaṇaḥ ॥6-33-29॥
Translation
'This flurry of the followers of the Demon King, with uplifted weapons in their hands, is tumultuous and hair-raising.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'हाथों में हथियार उठाए हुए, राक्षसराज (रावण) के अनुयायियों की यह भीड़भाड़ (संभ्रम) अत्यंत कोलाहल पूर्ण और रोंगटे खड़े कर देने वाली है।'
English Commentary
The term 'romaharṣaṇaḥ' (hair-raising) conveys the intensity of the atmosphere. Ravana's followers are mobilized for a do-or-die battle. This is the prelude to the final war.

'रोमहर्षणः' (रोंगटे खड़े करने वाला) शब्द वातावरण की तीव्रता को बताता है। रावण के अनुयायी मरने-मारने को तैयार हैं। यह अंतिम युद्ध की पूर्वपीठिका है।
