YUDDHA KANDA•SARGA: 33•SHLOKA: 32
विक्रमिष्यति रक्षःसु भर्ता ते सहलक्ष्मणः ।
यथा शत्रुपु शत्रुघ्नो विष्णुना सह वासवः ॥६-३३-३२॥
vikramiṣyati rakṣaḥsu bhartā te sahalakṣmaṇaḥ |
yathā śatruṣu śatrughno viṣṇunā saha vāsavaḥ ॥6-33-32॥
Translation
'Your husband along with Lakshmana will display his valor against the Rakshasas, just as Indra (Vasava) along with Vishnu displays valor against enemies.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'लक्ष्मण सहित तुम्हारे पति राक्षसों पर उसी प्रकार पराक्रम दिखाएंगे, जैसे शत्रुओं पर विष्णु के साथ इन्द्र (पराक्रम दिखाते हैं)।'
English Commentary
The duo of Shri Rama and Lakshmana is compared to Vishnu and Indra. This reinforces their divine capability. The synergy between the brothers will be the undoing of the Rakshasa race.
हिंदी टीका
यहाँ श्री राम और लक्ष्मण की जोड़ी की तुलना विष्णु और इंद्र (या उपेन्द्र और इन्द्र) से की गई है। वाल्मीकि श्री रामायण में अक्सर श्री राम को विष्णु का अवतार माना गया है, लेकिन यहाँ उपमा के संदर्भ में उन्हें देवताओं के समान तेजस्वी बताया जा रहा है।
