स संभ्रान्तश्च निष्क्रान्तो यत्कृते राक्षसाधिपः ।
तच्च मे विदितं सर्वमभिनिष्क्रम्य मैथिलि ॥६-३३-८॥
sa saṃbhrāntaśca niṣkrānto yatkṛte rākṣasādhipaḥ |
tacca me viditaṃ sarvamabhiniṣkramya maithili ॥6-33-8॥
Translation
'O Maithili! The reason for which the King of Demons went out in a flurry, I have also learnt all of that after going out.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'हे मैथिली! जिस कारण से वह राक्षसराज (रावण) घबराया हुआ बाहर निकला, वह सब भी मैंने बाहर निकलकर जान लिया है।'
English Commentary
Sarama not only witnessed the interaction but also investigated why Ravana left abruptly. The word 'saṃbhrāntaḥ' (flustered/agitated) is key. It signals to Sita that Ravana did not leave in the calm confidence of a victor, but in the panic of someone facing a crisis. This sets the stage for revealing the truth.

सरमा न केवल वहां मौजूद थी, बल्कि उसने रावण के अचानक चले जाने का कारण भी पता कर लिया है। 'संभ्रान्तः' (घबराया हुआ) शब्द महत्वपूर्ण है। यह सीता को संकेत देता है कि रावण विजयी होकर नहीं, बल्कि किसी डर या संकट के कारण वहां से भागा था। यह सत्य के उद्घाटन की भूमिका है।
