एष ते यद्यभिप्रायस्तद्गच्छामि जानकि ।
गृह्य शत्रोरभिप्रायमुपावृत्तां च पश्य माम् ॥६-३४-१३॥
eṣa te yadyabhiprāyastadgacchāmi jānaki |
gṛhya śatrorabhiprāyamupāvṛttāṃ ca paśya mām ॥6-34-13॥
Translation
'O Janaki! If this is your wish, then I go. Consider me already returned, having grasped the enemy's intent.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'हे जानकी! यदि तुम्हारा यही अभिप्राय (इच्छा) है, तो मैं जाती हूँ। और मुझे शत्रु का अभिप्राय (मनशा) जानकर (शीघ्र) लौटी हुई देखो।'
English Commentary
Sarama accepts the mission with alacrity. The phrase 'See me as already returned' (upavrittam ca pashya mam) is a confident assertion that the task will be done swiftly and successfully. She commits to capturing the abhiprayam (intent) of the enemy, acting as a perfect spy.

सरमा तुरंत आज्ञा मानती है। 'उपावृत्तां च पश्य माम्' (मुझे लौटी हुई ही देखो)—यह मुहावरा उसकी गति और आत्मविश्वास को दर्शाता है कि काम पलक झपकते ही हो जाएगा। वह सीता को 'जानकी' कहकर संबोधित करती है, जो सम्मानसूचक है।
