अधर्मो रक्षसां पक्षो ह्यसुराणां च रावण ।
धर्मो वै ग्रसतेऽधर्मं ततः कृतमभूद्युगम् ॥६-३५-१४॥
adharmo rakṣasāṃ pakṣo hyasurāṇāṃ ca rāvaṇa |
dharmo vai grasate'dharmaṃ tataḥ kṛtamabhūdyugam ॥6-35-14॥
Translation
'O Ravana! The side of Rakshasas and Asuras is indeed Adharma. Dharma surely swallows (destroys) Adharma; that is when the Krita Yuga (Golden Age) comes into being.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'हे रावण! राक्षसों और असुरों का पक्ष अधर्म है। धर्म निश्चित रूप से अधर्म को निगल जाता है (नाश करता है), तब कृतयुग (सत्ययुग) होता है।'
English Commentary
Malyavan explains the cosmic cycle. When Dharma 'grasate' (swallows) Adharma, it signifies the Krita Yuga. He warns that Shri Rama represents the resurgence of Dharma, destined to consume the Adharma of the Rakshasas, signaling a shift in the cosmic balance.

माल्यवान युग-चक्र (Cycle of Yugas) का रहस्य बताता है। जब धर्म अधर्म को 'ग्रसते' (निगल लेता है), तो वह सत्ययुग का लक्षण है। वह चेतावनी दे रहा है कि श्री राम का उदय धर्म के पुनरुत्थान का संकेत है, जो राक्षसी अधर्म को निगलने के लिए आया है।
