तपसा भावितात्मानो धर्मस्यानुग्रहे रताः ।
मुख्यैर्यज्ञैर्यजन्ते नित्यं तैस्तैर्द्विजातयः ॥६-३५-१९॥
tapasā bhāvitātmāno dharmasyānugrahe ratāḥ |
mukhyairyajñairyajante nityaṃ taistairdvijātayaḥ ॥6-35-19॥
Translation
'With souls purified by penance, intent on the favor of Dharma, those twice-born ones constantly worship with various principal sacrifices.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'तपस्या से शुद्ध आत्मा वाले, धर्म के अनुग्रह में लगे हुए वे द्विज (ब्राह्मण/ऋषि) नित्य प्रमुख यज्ञों द्वारा (देवताओं का) यजन करते हैं।'
English Commentary
The source of the sages' power is described: souls purified by tapas (penance). Their yajnas (sacrifices) are not mere rituals but generators of cosmic power. By disrupting these, Ravana has only unified their intent against him, channeling their spiritual merit towards his destruction.

ऋषियों की दिनचर्या और शक्ति का स्रोत बताया गया है। वे 'तपसा भावितात्मानो' (तप से शुद्ध आत्मा वाले) हैं। उनके यज्ञ केवल कर्मकांड नहीं, बल्कि ब्रह्मांडीय शक्ति का संचय हैं। रावण ने इन्ही यज्ञों में बाधा डाली थी, जिससे अब वे यज्ञ फल श्री राम के पक्ष में जा रहे हैं।
