दिशोऽपि विद्रुताः सर्वाः स्तनयित्नुरिवोष्णगे ।
ऋषीणामग्निकल्पानामग्निहोत्रसमुत्थितः ॥६-३५-२१॥
diśo'pi vidrutāḥ sarvāḥ stanayitnurivoṣṇage |
ṛṣīṇāmagnikalpānāmagnihotrasamutthitaḥ ॥6-35-21॥
Translation
'The smoke rising from the Agnihotra sacrifices of the fire-like sages has spread in all directions like clouds in the summer.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'अग्नि के समान ऋषियों के अग्निहोत्र से उत्पन्न (धुआं), ग्रीष्म ऋतु में बादलों की तरह सब दिशाओं में फैल गया है।'
English Commentary
The smoke from the sacrifices symbolizes purification. Just as clouds cover the sky in summer, the spiritual influence of the sages is pervading all directions, dispelling the dark aura of the Rakshasas.
हिंदी टीका
यज्ञ का धुआं पवित्रता का प्रतीक है जो अब वातावरण को शुद्ध कर रहा है और राक्षसी माया को काट रहा है। उपमा दी गई है कि जैसे गर्मी में बादल छा जाते हैं, वैसे ही ऋषियों के पुण्य प्रभाव ने दसों दिशाओं को घेर लिया है।
