व्याला गोमायवो गृध्रा वाशन्ति च सुभैरवम् ।
प्रविश्य लङ्कामनिशं समवायांश्च कुर्वते ॥६-३५-२८॥
vyālā gomāyavo gṛdhrā vāśanti ca subhairavam |
praviśya laṅkāmaniśaṃ samavāyāṃśca kurvate ॥6-35-28॥
Translation
'Predatory beasts, jackals, and vultures are crying out terribly. Entering Lanka, they are constantly forming packs/groups.'
हिंदी अनुवाद
'हिंसक जीव, सियार और गिद्ध अत्यंत भयानक बोली बोल रहे हैं। वे लंका में प्रवेश करके निरंतर झुंड (समवायान्) बना रहे हैं।'
English Commentary
Jackals and vultures are scavengers of the battlefield. Their gathering inside the city creates a chilling image: Lanka is about to become a necropolis, and these creatures are assembling in anticipation of the feast of corpses.

सियार और गिद्ध श्मशान के प्राणी हैं। उनका नगर में प्रवेश करना और समूह बनाना यह बताता है कि लंका जल्द ही एक विशाल श्मशान बनने वाली है और ये जीव दावत की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं।
