रावणस्तु सहामात्यो मन्त्रयित्वा विमृश्य च ।
लङ्कायामतुलां गुप्तिं कारयामास राक्षसः ॥६-३६-१७॥
rāvaṇastu sahāmātyo mantrayitvā vimṛśya ca |
laṅkāyāmatulāṃ guptiṃ kārayāmāsa rākṣasaḥ ॥6-36-17॥
Translation
Ravana, however, having consulted and deliberated with his ministers, arranged for the incomparable defense/protection of Lanka.
हिंदी अनुवाद
उधर राक्षस रावण ने मंत्रियों के साथ विचार-विमर्श करके, लंका की अतुलनीय रक्षा-व्यवस्था (गुप्ति) करवाई।
English Commentary
Ravana shifts gears from emotional outbursts to strategic planning. He organizes an atulam guptim (incomparable defense). This shows that despite his arrogance, he is a competent general who takes the defense of his capital seriously. He consults his remaining ministers to finalize the fortifications.
हिंदी टीका
भावुकता से निकलकर रावण अब एक सेनापति की भूमिका में आता है। उसने 'अतुलां गुप्तिं' (अतुलनीय रक्षा व्यवस्था) तैयार की। लंका स्वाभाविक रूप से सुरक्षित थी, लेकिन रावण ने उसे अभेद्य बनाने के लिए मंत्रियों के साथ 'विमृश्य' (गहन विचार) किया।
