विसर्जयामास ततः स मन्त्रिणो विधानमाज्ञाप्य पुरस्य पुष्कलम् ।
जयाशिषा मन्त्रिगणेन पूजितो विवेश चान्तःपुरमृद्धिमन्महत् ॥६-३६-२३॥
visarjayāmāsa tataḥ sa mantriṇo vidhānamājñāpya purasya puṣkalam |
jayāśiṣā mantrigaṇena pūjito viveśa cāntaḥpuramṛddhimanmahat ॥6-36-23॥
Translation
Then, having ordered the complete arrangement/defense of the city, he dismissed the ministers. Honored by the group of ministers with blessings of victory, he entered his great and opulent inner apartments.
हिंदी अनुवाद
तदनन्तर, नगर की पूर्ण व्यवस्था का आदेश देकर उसने मंत्रियों को विदा किया। और मंत्रीगणों द्वारा 'जय हो' के आशीर्वाद से पूजित होकर, वह अपने महान और समृद्ध अन्तःपुर में प्रविष्ट हुआ।
English Commentary
The sarga concludes with Ravana retiring to his antahpuram (inner quarters), described as riddhiman (prosperous/opulent). Having issued pushkalam vidhanam (comprehensive orders), he feels secure. The juxtaposition of the imminent bloody war and the luxury of the palace highlights the high stakes—Ravana is fighting to protect this very opulence.

युद्ध की तैयारी पूरी करके रावण अपने 'समृद्ध अन्तःपुर' में जाता है। 'पुष्कलम् विधानम्' (पूर्ण व्यवस्था) करके वह निश्चिंत है। मंत्रियों के जयघोष के बीच उसका महल में जाना, तूफानी रात से पहले की शांति जैसा है। यह सर्ग रावण के रणनीतिक और मानसिक स्थिति का समापन करता है।
