लङ्कायां सचिवैः सर्वं रामाय प्रत्यवेदयत् ।
रामं कमलपत्राक्षमिदमुत्तरमब्रवीत् ॥६-३७-२०॥
laṅkāyāṃ sacivaiḥ sarvaṃ rāmāya pratyavedayat |
rāmaṃ kamalapatrākṣamidamuttaramabravīt ॥6-37-20॥
Translation
After reporting everything about Lanka to Shri Rama through the ministers, Vibhishana spoke the following further words to the lotus-eyed Shri Rama.

मंत्रियों के माध्यम से लंका का सारा विवरण श्री राम को निवेदित करने के बाद, विभीषण ने कमल के समान नेत्रों वाले श्री राम से यह उत्तर (आगे की बात) कही।
English Commentary
Describing Shri Rama as 'Kamalapatraksha' (lotus-eyed) highlights His divine composure amidst the tensions of impending war. Having provided the physical data of the enemy's defense, Vibhishana now transitions to discussing the qualitative aspects of the enemy's strength and past victories, ensuring Shri Rama is fully informed.

श्री राम को 'कमलपत्राक्ष' कहना उनकी शांत और स्थिर प्रकृति को दर्शाता है, जो युद्ध जैसी भीषण परिस्थिति में भी विचलित नहीं होते। विभीषण का विवरण पूर्ण हो चुका है और अब वे युद्ध के मनोवैज्ञानिक पक्ष और रावण के पुराने पराक्रमों के विषय में कुछ और महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी साझा करने जा रहे हैं।
