मुमुचुर्विविधान्नादांस्तत्र रामस्य पश्यतः ।
ततोऽस्तमगमत्सूर्यः सन्ध्यया प्रतिरञ्जितः ॥६-३८-१८॥
mumucurvividhānnādāṃstatra rāmasya paśyataḥ |
tato'stamagamatsūryaḥ sandhyayā pratirañjitaḥ ॥6-38-18॥
Translation
...released various kinds of roars while Shri Rama looked on. Thereafter, the sun, colored by the evening twilight, set.
हिंदी अनुवाद
...श्री राम के देखते-देखते वहाँ तरह-तरह के गर्जन (नाद) करने लगे। तदनन्तर, संध्या की लालिमा से रंगा हुआ सूर्य अस्त हो गया।
English Commentary
Roaring ('nādān') upon seeing the enemy is the monkeys' natural expression of enthusiasm and challenge. They are displaying their valor in front of Shri Rama. The setting sun marks a dramatic turn—the end of the day and the approach of the dark night of war.

शत्रु को देखकर वानरों का गर्जना ('नादान्') उनका स्वाभाविक उत्साह और चुनौती है। वे श्री राम के सामने अपनी वीरता प्रदर्शित कर रहे हैं। सूर्यास्त का वर्णन एक नाटकीय मोड़ है—दिन का अंत और युद्ध की काली रात्रि का आगमन।
