पृष्ठतो लक्ष्मणश्चैनमन्वगच्छत्समाहितः ।
सशरं चापमुद्यम्य सुमहद्विक्रमा रतः ॥६-३८-९॥
pṛṣṭhato lakṣmaṇaścainamanvagacchatsamāhitaḥ |
saśaraṃ cāpamudyamya sumahadvikramā rataḥ ॥6-38-9॥
Translation
The exceedingly valiant Lakshmana followed him, alert/composed, raising his great bow along with arrows.
हिंदी अनुवाद
अत्यंत पराक्रमी लक्ष्मण, बाणों सहित अपने विशाल धनुष को उठाए हुए, सावधान होकर श्री राम के पीछे-पीछे चले।
English Commentary
Lakshmana's dedication is unparalleled. He is 'samāhitaḥ' (alert/composed). Even at a time meant for rest, he is ready with his bow and arrows, fully aware that they are in enemy territory. Lakshmana is not just a brother but Shri Rama's supreme bodyguard.
हिंदी टीका
लक्ष्मण का समर्पण अद्वितीय है। वे 'समाहितः' (सावधान/एकाग्रचित्त) हैं। विश्श्री राम के समय भी वे धनुष-बाण लेकर तैयार हैं क्योंकि वे जानते हैं कि यह शत्रु का क्षेत्र है। लक्ष्मण केवल भाई नहीं, बल्कि श्री राम के सर्वोत्तम अंगरक्षक हैं।
