नित्यमत्तविहङ्गानि भ्रमराचरितानि च ।
कोकिलाकुलखण्डानि विहङ्गाभिरुतानि च ॥६-३९-१०॥
nityamattavihaṅgāni bhramarācaritāni ca |
kokilākulakhaṇḍāni vihaṅgābhirutāni ca ॥6-39-10॥
Translation
The forest was filled with eternally intoxicated birds, visited by bees, crowded with flocks of cuckoos, and resounding with bird calls.
हिंदी अनुवाद
वह वन नित्य मतवाले पक्षियों से भरा, भौरों के समूहों से सेवित, कोयलों के झुंडों से व्याप्त और पक्षियों के कलरव से गूंज रहा था।
English Commentary
The birds are described as nityamatta (perpetually intoxicated/joyous), implying an abundance of food (nectar/fruits). The density of life—bees, cuckoos, flocks—emphasizes the richness of the ecosystem. It is a vibrant, thriving habitat.

पक्षी 'नित्यमत्त' (सदा मदमस्त) थे, जो वहाँ की प्रचुरता और सुरक्षा को दर्शाता है। भौरों और कोयलों की भीड़ ('आकुल') बताती है कि जीवन (Life) वहाँ कितना घना था। यह वन जीवंत और शोरगुल (सुखद) से भरा था।
