घनैरिवातपापाये मध्यमं वैष्णवं पदम् ।
यस्यां स्तम्भसहस्रेण प्रासादः समलंकृतः ॥६-३९-२३॥
ghanairivātapāpāye madhyamaṃ vaiṣṇavaṃ padam |
yasyāṃ stambhasahasreṇa prāsādaḥ samalaṃkṛtaḥ ॥6-39-23॥
Translation
In which city there was a palace adorned with a thousand pillars, looking like the middle sky (Vishnu's abode) filled with clouds at the end of summer.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जिसमें (लंका में) हजार खम्भों (स्तंभ-सहस्र) वाला एक महल सुशोभित था, जो आकाश (वैष्णव पद) के मध्य में शरद ऋतु के बादलों जैसा (दिखता था)।
