तां रत्नपूर्णां बहुसंविधानां प्रासादमालाभिरलंकृतां च ।
पुरीं महायन्त्रकवाटमुख्यां ददर्श रामो महता बलेन ॥६-३९-२९॥
tāṃ ratnapūrṇāṃ bahusaṃvidhānāṃ prāsādamālābhiralaṃkṛtāṃ ca |
purīṃ mahāyantrakavāṭamukhyāṃ dadarśa rāmo mahatā balena ॥6-39-29॥
Translation
Shri Rama, with his great army, saw that city filled with gems, having many arrangements/constructions, adorned with rows of palaces, and having main gates fitted with great mechanical devices (yantras).
हिंदी अनुवाद
रत्नों से पूर्ण, बहुत से संविधानों (निर्माणों/व्यवस्थाओं) वाली, महलों की मालाओं (पंक्तियों) से अलंकृत और बड़े-बड़े यंत्रों (मशीनों) वाले मुख्य द्वारों (कपाट) वाली उस नगरी को श्री राम ने अपनी महान सेना के साथ देखा।
English Commentary
The sarga concludes by highlighting the technological defense of Lanka. The gates were equipped with mahayantra (great machines/mechanical devices), possibly catapults or automatic locking mechanisms. Along with the wealth (ratnapurnam) and rows of palaces, this mechanical sophistication presents Lanka as a formidable, advanced adversary. Shri Rama stands ready with his army to breach this marvel of engineering.

सर्ग का समापन लंका के तकनीकी पक्ष के साथ होता है। लंका में 'महायन्त्र' लगे थे जो द्वारों की रक्षा करते थे। यह प्राचीन भारत की उन्नत रक्षा प्रौद्योगिकी का संकेत है। 'बहुसंविधानाम्' (सुव्यवस्थित) और 'रत्नपूर्णाम्' लंका, श्री राम और उनकी 'महत बलेन' (विशाल सेना) के सामने एक चुनौती बनकर खड़ी थी।
