तच्चैत्ररथसंकाशं मनोज्ञं नन्दनोपमम् ।
वनं सर्वर्तुकं रम्यं शुशुभे षट्पदायुतम् ॥६-३९-८॥
taccaitrarathasaṃkāśaṃ manojñaṃ nandanopamam |
vanaṃ sarvartukaṃ ramyaṃ śuśubhe ṣaṭpadāyutam ॥6-39-8॥
Translation
That delightful forest, resembling the Chaitraratha garden and comparable to the Nandana garden, having flowers/fruits of all seasons (sarvartukam), and filled with bees, shone brightly.

चैत्ररथ वन के समान और नन्दन वन की उपमा वाला, वह मन को हरने वाला (मनोज्ञ), सभी ऋतुओं में फलने-फूलने वाला (सर्वर्तुक) और भौरों से युक्त रमणीय वन सुशोभित हो रहा था।
English Commentary
Lanka's gardens rival the celestial Chaitraratha (Kubera's) and Nandana (Indra's). The key feature is sarvartukam—possessing the qualities of all seasons simultaneously. This suggests a supernatural or perfectly controlled climate, where nature is in perpetual bloom, defying the constraints of time.

लंका के उद्यानों की तुलना कुबेर के 'चैत्ररथ' और इन्द्र के 'नन्दन' वन से की गई है। सबसे बड़ी विशेषता यह थी कि वह 'सर्वर्तुकम्' था—अर्थात् वहाँ सभी ऋतुओं के फल-फूल एक साथ उपलब्ध थे। यह प्रकृति के नियमों पर रावण के नियंत्रण या जादुई प्रभाव को दर्शाता है।
