YUDDHA KANDA•SARGA: 4•SHLOKA: 121
संपृक्तं नभमाप्यम्भः संपृक्तं च नभोऽम्भसा ।
तादृग्रूपे स्म दृश्येते तारारत्नममाकुले ॥६-४-१२१॥
saṃpṛktaṃ nabhamāpyambhaḥ saṃpṛktaṃ ca nabho'mbhasā । tādṛgrūpe sma dṛśyete tārāratnasamākule ॥6-4-121॥
Translation
The water blended with the sky, and the sky blended with the water. Filled with stars (in the sky) and gems (in the ocean), they both appeared alike.
हिंदी अनुवाद
जल आकाश से मिल गया था और आकाश जल से। तारों और रत्नों से भरे हुए वे दोनों (आकाश और सागर) एक ही रूप के दिखाई दे रहे थे।
English Commentary
Mirror image. The stars above mirror the gems below (ocean is 'Ratnakara' - mine of gems). This symmetry creates a disorienting, cosmic spectacle.
हिंदी टीका
तारे और रत्न। आकाश में तारे हैं, समुद्र में रत्न हैं (रत्नाकर)। दोनों चमक रहे हैं, जिससे यह भ्रम होता है कि कौन सा ऊपर है और कौन सा नीचे।
