रत्नौघजलसन्नादं विपक्तमिव वायुना ।
उत्पतन्तमिव क्रुद्धं यादोगणसमाकुलम् ॥६-४-१२४॥
ratnaughajalasannādaṃ vipaktamiva vāyunā । utpatantamiva kruddhaṃ yādoguṇasamākulam ॥6-4-124॥
Translation
Resounding with waters and heaps of gems, churned by the wind, and filled with aquatic creatures, it seemed to leap up in anger.
हिंदी अनुवाद
(वह सागर) रत्नों के समूह और जल के नाद से युक्त था, वायु द्वारा मथा जा रहा था, और जल-जंतुओं के समूहों से भरा हुआ, क्रोधित होकर ऊपर उछल रहा था।
English Commentary
The Angry Ocean. Personified as 'kruddha' (angry), the ocean leaps up ('utpatantam'). The wind acts as the agitator. This suggests that the elements are currently hostile.

सागर का क्रोध। समुद्र 'क्रुद्ध' (नाराज) लग रहा है। ऊँची लहरें उसका क्रोध हैं। वायु उसे 'मथ' (Churning) रही है। यह अशांत स्थिति पार करने के लिए प्रतिकूल है।
