सागरौघनिभं भीममग्रानीकं महाबलाः ।
कपिसिंहाः प्रकर्षन्तु शतशोऽथ सहस्रशः ॥६-४-१५॥
sāgaraughanibhaṃ bhīmamagrānīkaṃ mahābalāḥ । kapisiṃhāḥ prakarṣantu śataśo'tha sahasraśaḥ ॥6-4-15॥
Translation
Let the mighty lion-like monkeys, in hundreds and thousands, lead the terrible vanguard which resembles the flood of the ocean.
हिंदी अनुवाद
महाबली कपि-सिंह (वानर श्रेष्ठ) सैकड़ों और हजारों की संख्या में, सागर के प्रवाह के समान भयानक अग्रिम सेना (Vanguard) को खींचकर (नेतृत्व करके) ले चलें।
English Commentary
Description of the vanguard's movement. It moves like a tidal wave ('sagaraughanibham'). The leaders are termed 'Kapisimhas' (Lion-monkeys), emphasizing their ferocity and leadership capability.

अग्रिम सेना का वर्णन। इसे 'सागरौघनिभं' (सागर की लहरों जैसा) कहा गया है। 'कपि-सिंह' एक सुंदर रूपक है—वानर जो सिंह समान हैं।
