एवं ते हरिशार्दूला गच्छन्तो बलदर्पिताः ।
अपश्यंस्ते गिरिश्रेष्ठं सह्यं द्रुमलतायुतम् ॥६-४-३८॥
evaṃ te hariśārdūlā gacchanto baladarpitāḥ । apaśyaṃste giriśreṣṭhaṃ sahyaṃ drumalatāyutam ॥6-4-38॥
Translation
Thus marching, proud of their strength, those tigers among monkeys saw the excellent mountain Sahya, covered with trees and creepers.
हिंदी अनुवाद
इस प्रकार अपने बल के गर्व से युक्त वे वानर-शार्दूल चलते हुए, वृक्षों और लताओं से भरे हुए पर्वतश्रेष्ठ 'सह्य' (सह्याद्रि) को देखने लगे।
English Commentary
Geographical marker. The army reaches the 'Sahya' mountains (Western Ghats), indicating significant progress southwards from Kishkindha.
