Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
अस्मिन् मुहूर्ते विजये प्राप्ते मध्यं दिवाकरे ।
सीतां हृत्वा तु मे यातु कामौ यास्यति यास्यतः ॥६-४-४॥
asmin muhūrte vijaye prāpte madhyaṃ divākara । sītāṃ hṛtvā tu me yātu kāmau yāsyati yāsyataḥ ॥6-4-4॥
Translation
Now that the sun has reached the zenith and the Vijaya muhurta has arrived, let him (Ravana) go wherever he wishes after stealing Sita; he (still) shall not go anywhere (escape death).
हिंदी अनुवाद
सूर्य के मध्य में पहुँचने पर इस विजय मुहूर्त के प्राप्त होने पर (मैं यात्रा कर रहा हूँ)। वह (रावण) मेरी सीता का अपहरण करके (भले ही) कहीं भी चला जाए, (अब) वह जीवित नहीं बचेगा।
English Commentary
The power of the auspicious moment. Shri Rama asserts that commencing the march now seals Ravana's fate. Even if Ravana flees to any corner of the universe, the momentum of this 'Vijaya' moment ensures he cannot escape retribution.
हिंदी टीका
मुहूर्त का प्रभाव। श्री राम कहते हैं कि इस समय यात्रा शुरू करने पर विजय निश्चित है। रावण चाहे जहाँ छिप जाए ('कामैः यातु'), उसका अंत निश्चित है। यह आत्मविश्वास दैवीय काल-गणना पर आधारित है।
