Srimad Valmiki Ramayana
सीता श्रुत्वाभियानं मे आशामांस्यति जीविते ।
जीवितान्तेऽमृतं स्पृष्ट्वा पीत्वामृतमिवातुरः ॥६-४-५॥
sītā śrutvābhiyānaṃ me āśāmāṃsyati jīvite । jīvitānte'mṛtaṃ spṛṣṭvā pītvāmṛtamivāturaḥ ॥6-4-5॥
Translation
Hearing of my expedition, Sita will restore hope in her life, just as a dying person (revives) upon touching or drinking nectar (Amrita) at the end of life.
हिंदी अनुवाद
मेरे अभियान (कूच) की बात सुनकर सीता अपने जीवन की आशा (पुनः) बांध लेगी, जैसे कोई मरणासन्न (आतुर) व्यक्ति जीवन के अंत में अमृत को स्पर्श करके या पीकर (जीवित हो उठता है)।
English Commentary
Shri Rama empathizes with Sita's precarious mental state. He knows that the news of his mobilization ('abhiyanam') acts as 'Amrita' (nectar of immortality) for her. It reflects the deep psychological bond where the Lord's effort itself is the sustenance for the devotee.
हिंदी टीका
श्री राम सीता की मनस्थिति को समझते हैं। हनुमान के जाने के बाद सीता पुनः निराश हो सकती हैं, लेकिन श्री राम के 'अभियान' (कूच) की खबर उन्हें प्राणवायु देगी। यहाँ 'अमृत' की उपमा दी गई है—श्री राम का आगमन सीता के लिए अमृत समान है।
